ExperienceVT

Hokies are committed to serve, learn, and lead in communities near and far. The paths look different, but every Virginia Tech student and graduate drops little breadcrumbs throughout their journeys, linking them back to this university.

This blog is a place to hold the stories of the sending out and to tell of the breadcrumbs linking back home. Through the stories of our alumni, our students, and our community, we're going to tell the story of the Virginia Tech experience, in all its diverse, unique, and cohesive beauty.

We invite you to ExperienceVT.

For most of the things you’ll need, you’re on your own, but there are several items that you can get from university-approved vendor partners. Things like microfridges, safes, hutches, closet organizers, carpets, linens, and storage services are all available for purchase.

Make sure you plan out who is bringing the big things with your roommate. There’s no need for two microwaves…unless you both have an unquenchable desire for Easy Mac at the exact same time. Unfortunately, in that case, you’re out of luck. Check out the fire and safety regulations before you start packing (teaser: you can only have one microwave in a room).
